The military budgets of the nations that are international space station partners are THOUSANDS of times greater than all spaceflight expenditures combined.
How much further advanced would we be with weather satellites to help farmers, communications satellites to help our phone, TV and internet systems, medical research, ecological research, disaster prevention, navigation, a dozen other fields, if we spent more on spaceflight?
Why do we spend more on dog toys than on spaceflight?

The money just spent SO FAR (not including future costs) on the Iraq war could have given us SIX COMPLETED space stations.
