Good Dog food for large breed dogs?
My parents and I are planning on adopting a large breed dog (most likely a German Shepherd or german shepherd mix) in the near future and I’d like some advice on different brands of large breed dog food and the types too (ie. tinned/ semi-moist/dry) as I’ve heard that a lot of large breeds can have very sensitive digestive systems.
I’d also like some advice on what activities a german shepherd/ shepherd mix would really enjoy as (s)he would be walked twice a day at least as well as time for play and i’m planning to take him to agility classes on a weekend as well as walks. Will this be enough exercise? Would a backpack be a good idea?
lab, shepherd, or my fav. the rott ! their all very loyal but the shepherds tend to have back problems as they get older, where the rotts have hipp problems and brain swelling, the lab would probably be the one that would have the fewest vet visits ! but i just love my rottie ! he weighs 157 lbs and is a big baby, but only for me ! their loyal to one person ! and that’s the way i want it ! also have a shepherd and wolf mix ! another awesome choice ! hope this helped !
