quality dog foods?
Is it real that if you raised your dog using high quality or super premium dog food and your dog will die at young age like 5 yrs. old?
My friend fed his dogs from the start until now Optima hipro dog food even its 1st ingredient is
1stCooked yellow corn
2nd. Beef meal
3rd. brewers rice
4th. wheat mill run
5th. poultry by-product
and so on… but his dogs do well even it has fillers. all of his puppies use this hipro 27% protein 15% fat. and when his dogs grow all of his large breed they don’t encounter hip dysplasia.
dogs can do well on alot of foods for some years, that doesnt mean theyre good quality. Some people say “my dog eats [brand] and is 10 years old and healthy all his life!” but maybe that dog has been aging faster on a poorer quality food..maybe he could live 10 yrs longer than he will, if he’d eaten a “better” food all his life.
i read dogs cant digest corn good, their bodies have to work hard to digest it and some studies even show it links to cancers (in some cases).
Hip dysplasia has to do with genetics also. its nutrition, genetics, exercise, vet care, its a whole package that contribute to the dogs health
